PMD Pokemon: Mysterious Dungeons
The world stands still. Years have passed since The crisis with Gardevoir or the Time Gears, and many of the "Mystery Dungeons" began to fade away. The people have forgotten about the heros who once saved them, and many towns have been built on top of where the dungeons used to be. Yes, this world stands still.
To cause it to move once more, a mysterious force brings 7 Pokemon from beyond the Realm of Dreams. A voice commands them, "find your purpose, fulfill your destiny....and disappear."
Hey guys, I felt like I should post something about where my life's at right now.
Well, in the last couple weeks, I ran into ANOTHER two con-artists and two pickpockets. Yes, you read that right. In the MONTH that I've been in New York, people have tried to steal from me FIVE TIMES. Seriously, WTF. Thankfully, I learned my lesson the first time so I don't carry any cash on person anymore (at least, not in my wallet) so I didn't lose anything. It's nice to feel like I've gotten a bit savvier at least.
While the Game Design department at my school is still kinda disorganized, they've started sending us Job offers from alumni and local indie studios. I actually have a job now as a 2-d artist for a phone game called "Geomon," so at least there is some good news happening in my life! :D
Anyway, that's why I've been too busy to work on my comic and respond to comments, but I'll try to make time to get on that soon! Thanks for your patience.

The thing is, when I first started my comic, I had a concept for a setting, but I didn't really know where I wanted to take it. And now that I know where I want to take it, it's too late to really move it in that direction. Not to mention, my comic kinda got bogged down in it's insanely long prologue. (Seriously, what the hell kind of prologue is this cray long?) And given what I had planned for the prologue, I wouldn't even be able to get to the actual story for quite some time.
So the bottom line is this: I've been thinking of just starting over and doing something new. The old pages would still be there (Hell, if the reboot didn't work out, it wouldn't be too much trouble to just go back and pick up the current story where it is). So what do you think? Should I start over again?
I started a poll here: http://speedboosttorchic.deviantart.com/journal/poll/5427217/

Mysterious Dungeons' PXR Subforum is getting closed. Damn shame, but honestly, I think it's for the best, given that nobody's posted on that thing since 2014!
If anyone feels like it, you can go ahead and click that link to say your goodbyes, but it's already been removed from the normal sub-forum board, and you can't access it normally.
Still, it was a great experience, and if you helped make it possible by posting there, you have my eternal gratitude! :3

Now that I can poll people on DeviantArt, I can do an actual poll rather than trying to count comments. Go ahead and vote for your favorite character, here:

I've created a feedback poll on DeviantArt here: http://speedboosttorchic.deviantart.com/journal/poll/5203335/
And I would really appreciate it if you guys could take the time and let your opinion be known. Remember, I can only improve with YOUR help.
Thank you! :D

Sorry for another schedule slip, but I swear there's a good reason for it this time. I took off a good chunk of my thumb while cooking yesterday, and I can't really hold the stylus on my tablet (typing even, is a bit of a chore right now) so I can't really work on the comic for a few days. I have a page that's already basically finished, so if I can get it done I'm going to post it, but for now assume delay.

Semester finals are coming up, and several of my colleges are going to see my first semester of senior year on my transcript so I've been busy studying (which is why I haven't had time to work on the comic recently). Fortunately, since none of them are going to see my SECOND semester, I can just sit back and say to myself "New goal: C minus."
Anyway, I wanted to ask everyone a few questions:
1. I've been thinking about changing the name of my series (cause let's be honest: (PMD): Mysterious Dungeons ain't exactly the most creative name around). Then again, it might make it harder to find, and a sudden name change might shock some people. Should I go ahead with it anyway?
2. I'm considering dividing the Prologue into chapters (rather than keeping it a prologue) because a 78 page long (and counting!) prologue is kind of ridiculous. There are several good cut-off points regardless. The downside of doing this is that I would have to draw up several cover pages, re-organize my comics on DA and SJ, and reformat some things about my site before I can create further updates - all of which would be a very time consuming process. Besides, the main story is supposed to take place in the real world, rather than the dream, so if they were chapters rather than a prologue, it would make for a rough transition (and the twist end I've got planned for the prologue would be all the more jarring).
3. Going on from point 2 and 1, since there are a number of problems associated with a name-change and a chapter-reformat, an alternative would be to have the prologue be it's own series, and for the main story to become a sequel series to the prologue. This sound like a good idea?
Thank you in advance to anyone who answers! :D
